One Of The Benefits Of Green Tea Is Losing Weight

By Andrew Jackson

I have an insane story about how I lost weight by drinking green tea. I originally weighed about 190 pounds before I began my tea diet. I lost 30 pounds in about 3 months when I started with the tea diet. It doesn't get easier than my experience. Just about anybody can do what I'm about to share with you.

Here's the catch. I did give up two of my favorite, full of sugar drinks. I gave up coffee and soda. Instead of drinking my daily dose of supercharge caffeine in the morning, I swapped it for green tea, which also contains caffeine, minus the sugar. During lunch I either drank either cool water or a nice cup of ice or warm tea depending on my mood of course. So what are the benefits of green tea?

One of the benefits of green tea is catechins and work as an antioxidant. What happens is the catechins increase your basal metabolic rate, hence you burn more calories throughout your day without doing any exercise. The other benefits of green tea are lowering bad cholesterol, fighting heart disease, and battling cancer.

Losing the weight involved an additional part. Working on simple exercise like speed walking or light jogging was necessary to lose weight. I would suggest about 20 to 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise. You can even do biking too for those of you, and like myself, that have knee problems. After i progressed on my stamina, I added more physical exercises like push-ups and sit-ups.

The combination of drinking green tea and doing simple exercise help me achieve to lose fat and weight. 4 to 5 cups a day is necessary in order to bring your basal metabolic rate up. You can also buy caffeine-free tea to drink in the evenings or nights for those sensitive to caffeine. I hope this article will encourage you to start drinking tea, not just for losing weight, but for the many other benefits it provides.

  1. Yes green coffee weight loss is the perfect natural weight loss but High consumption of unfiltered coffee is associated with mild elevations in cholesterol levels. And another study found that 3 or more cups of coffee a day can increase the risk of heart disease.
